La Cordée, a retailer of specialized outdoor equipment for over 70 years and a true institution in Quebec, is proud to announce the appointment of Robert Brunet as General Manager. Mr. Brunet succeeds Cédric Morisset, who is retiring to focus on his own entrepreneurial projects.
A pioneer in the outdoor industry, Mr. Brunet has decades of expertise, having founded Le Yéti in 1985, which was integrated into La Cordée in 2015. Since then, he has led the Canadian operations of Equip Outdoor Technologies and has grown the North American presence of the Rab brand.
Robert's unparalleled experience in retail and strong relationships with suppliers represent major assets to position La Cordée on a path of sustainable growth. Robert embodies the importance of partnerships with major brands, which have always been at the heart of La Cordée's strength. Thus, La Cordée will be able to continue to offer exceptional value to its customers through these collaborations.
For nearly three years, under the leadership of Cédric Morisset, La Cordée opened three new stores and launched a website, establishing a solid foundation for the future. Cédric's energy, vision and dedication were essential in the evolution of operations. We express our deep gratitude for his exceptional contribution.
