Located 50 km from Quebec City, Mont-Sainte-Anne transforms into a hiking and mountain biking paradise in the summer. 7 km from the ski resort, you'll find Camping Mont-Sainte-Anne with a multitude of campsites with or without services. Whether you're passionate about mountain biking, hiking, or simply enjoy the pleasures of nature, you won't be disappointed. Camping Mont-Sainte-Anne is the perfect base camp for a host of family activities.

Vallée Bras-du-Nord Cooperative

The Vallée Bras-du-Nord cooperative, located 85 km from Quebec City, is a must-see. You will find several types of accommodations there, including 8 yurts located 1 km from the Shannahan reception area.

These cylindrical tents, inspired by the dwellings of the nomads of Central Asia, can comfortably accommodate up to 4 adults and 2 children. Equipped with a wood stove and a skylight at the top, the yurts are ideal for those who wish to spend some time in nature, but who do not have the necessary equipment or to change from traditional camping.

Massif du Sud Park

About 100 km south of Quebec City, in the Chaudière-Appalaches region, is the Parc du Massif du Sud and its magnificent camping area which offers 60 campsites surrounded by vegetation to set up your tent. In addition, you will find sites for camper trailers or any other small motorized vehicle in the Érables and Bouleaux zones.

Nearby, you have access to 71 km of hiking trails, making it the ideal place for hiking and trail running enthusiasts. However, if cycling is your favorite activity, the Parc du Massif du Sud also offers different types of mountain bike trails of all levels for the whole family.

Mont-Mégantic National Park

The Mont Mégantic, located 210 km from Quebec City, is one of the highest peaks in the region with an altitude of 1,105 m. It is the best place to observe the starry sky and the vastness of the landscape.

After your hike, go to the Grande-Ourse sector of the Mont-Mégantic National Park which offers 13 rustic camping platforms near the observatory. If you are well equipped and the weather is clement, enjoy a night under the stars, the show is worth it.

Camping Sea and World, Les Bergeronnes

At 240 km from Quebec City, and a few kilometers east of the magnificent Saguenay Fjord, is the Mer et monde campsite, on the edge of the St. Lawrence River.

A series of platforms allows campers to set up on the rocky capes that border the majestic river. A warm blanket and a good coffee in hand are enough to enjoy the picturesque landscape that the river and its fauna have to offer. With a little luck and patience, you can spot whales and birds.

If you like kayaking, the Mer et Monde campsite offers expeditions to discover marine life. For the more adventurous, kayak-camping excursions of 3 to 5 days are also offered, accompanied by an experienced guide.

Mingan Archipelago National Park Reserve

The Mingan Archipelago National Park Reserve is located 858 km from Quebec between the Mingan Islands… Yes, you read that right! Even though this destination is extremely far from Quebec, we still wanted to tell you about this hidden gem.

Camp in one of the oTENTik tents equipped with the basic material and equipment needed for a stay in nature. Or, set up your own equipment on one of the many sites on one of the 6 islands of the Mingan Archipelago National Park Reserve.
