Whether you’re passionate about cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, backcountry skiing, or telemark skiing, our ski technicians are qualified to take care of your ski equipment.
In each of our stores, our workshops offer a wide range of services to maximize your safety and performance on the snow. Edge sharpening, waxing, and base repairs are just a few of the services we provide.

Our Maintenance and Repair Services

Quick Repairs

Do your skis need a quick touch-up before hitting the slopes? Our technicians handle quick repairs such as waxing, edge sharpening, binding adjustments, and more. Often, these small tweaks make a big difference once you’re skiing.

Full Maintenance

A full maintenance service at the start of the season is essential for maximum performance on the snow. This service also increases the lifespan of your skis while ensuring you get the most enjoyment out of every turn.

For skiers in the Quebec City area, our workshop at La Vie Sportive by La Cordée is equipped with a Wintersteiger machine. This specialized machine allows us to repair and wax alpine ski bases and sharpen edges. Visit our workshop for a complete maintenance service for your alpine skis.

Need to update your ski equipment? When you purchase at least two items among skis, bindings, or boots, you get 50% off certain workshop services.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you service skis and snowboards?

We service alpine skis, alpine touring skis, telemark skis, classic cross-country skis, skate skis, and backcountry cross-country skis. However, we do not service snowboards.

How do I know if my skis need maintenance?

Your skis need maintenance if you feel they don't glide as well as usual or if they don't grip as well on the snow during your turns.

How often should I get my skis serviced?

A full service is recommended at the beginning of the season. Then, if you are a regular skier, your skis may need another service during the season. Regular waxing extends the life of the ski base and improves glide.

What's the difference between waxing and sharpening?

Waxing nourishes and protects the base of your skis while improving glide. Sharpening restores the bite to the edges for more precision and grip on hard snow.

Do I need to make an appointment for a repair?

For quick repairs, you can come in without an appointment, subject to availability. For a complete service or a more significant repair, we recommend booking by phone to avoid waiting.

Do you repair damaged or scratched bases?

Absolutely. Our technicians can fill and repair bases, then perform a complete tune-up to give your skis a second life.

Do you use specific products depending on the snow conditions for cross-country skis?

Yes, we choose waxes and products adapted to different temperatures and snow types to optimize your performance on the snow.
