P High density polyethylene

Commonly called poly kayaks. These kayaks made of polyethylene are very strong. In addition to being affordable, they can be used for years without problems. These suit beginners as well as experienced kayakers.


T Thermoformed ABS

A relatively new manufacturing technique that combines the advantages of polyethylene and composite construction. They easily glide on the water and offer weights similar to composite kayaks. In other words, this type of construction offers the best of both worlds.


C Composite

Composite construction is the pinnacle of kayak materials. It offers the best possible strength-to-weight ratio.
