Warranty & Returns
The goal of this warranty is to make sure you are 100% satisfied.
SIf, for a valid reason, you feel that a product purchased at La Cordée does not meet your expectations, you have 30 days to return it, clean (cleaned if necessary) and accompanied by a proof of purchase and the original packaging. We will make sure the product is either repaired, replaced or refunded, according to the situation.
Beyond this initial 30-days period, the manufacturer's standard warranty covering manufacturing defects applies. The warranty does not apply to damage or failure due to accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, or theft.
We do not accept returns on the following items :
- Safety gear (climbing / helmets / protections)
Socks, cycling shorts, helmets (for watersports, cycling, climbing or skiing), water filters, books and topographic maps can be exchanged or refunded only if they are new, i.e. that they have never been used and are returned with their original labels and packaging.
Returns & Exchange
Returns for exchange or reimbursement will be accepted within 30 days from the purchase date. The returned items should be clean (washed if necessary), with a valid proof of purchase and the original packaging.
Past the 30-day period, only the manufacturer's warranty will be applicable. This warranty does not cover abuse, accidental damages or normal wear. Please contact the La Cordée customer service for more information about manufacturer warranties.
Returns will be accepted within a 30-day period starting from the day the order has been received by the customer, except for the above mentioned exceptions. Exchanging an item is not possible for orders placed online. Please note that the customer is responsible for any fees involved to return an order.
* Online purchases can be returned by mail or in person in one of our stores.
* Shipping fees are not refundable.

Make sure the following items are included with your shipment:
- The return form
- All original tags and packagings
- The item(s), clean and washed if necessary
- Your 9-digit order number

* Shipments cannot be sent by mail directly to our stores.
** Shipments cannot be sent by courier (Purolator, Fedex, et.c) or Cash on Delivery (COD).
*** Under no circumstances will a return be accepted in person at the address found on the return form.
